John F. Jamin¹

• John F. Jamin was born in 1791 in the Isle of France.¹
• George B. Blodgette, Esq., of Rowley, writes: "I knew him well, and he was a gentleman."¹
• John married Hannah Mighill Elwell, daughter of Samuel Elwell and Elizabeth Perley.¹
• John died in 1870 in Rowley, Massachusetts. Mr. Jamin's tomb record is as follows: "John Francis Jamin, born in the Isle of France, 1791, died in Rowley, Mass., 1870, aged 79 yrs; Hannah Mighill, wife of J. F. Jamin, died 1869, aged 76 yrs; John Francis Codeau, only son of J. F. & H. M. Jamin, died 1844, aged 13 yrs; Hannah Elwell, only daughter of J. F. & H. M. Jamin, died 1840, aged 21 years."¹
