In 1835, George Wheeler built the Methodist meeting house in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹
The census of 1870 shows: George Wheeler, 63, a farmer with $5000 real estate and $1825 personal estate; and Asenath Wheeler, 58, keeping house; listed with Daniel Wheeler, George A. Wheeler, Jesse C. Wheeler, Susan M. Wheeler, Rufus H. Wheeler, Oliver Wheeler, Westly Wheeler, Assenith A. Wheeler and Narrissa Wheeler
living at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³
George died on January 24, 1877 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 69.¹
He and Asenath Colby were buried in Alexander Cemetery, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, along with Susan M. Wheeler.⁴

Jane Wheeler

Jane Wheeler was born on July 24, 1815 in Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.
Jane married Charles Sargent Colby, son of James Colby and Susannah Stewart. They apparently adopted a daughter, Ella L. Colby, born 1846 in Litchfield, N. H. Her marriae record lists them as parents, but Ella is not listed with them in the 1850 census, and Harrison Colby lists Irad as the only child.¹
Jane died on August 30, 1877 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 62.
She and Charles Sargent Colby were buried in Evans (North) Cemetery on White Rock Hill Rd, by Turee Pond, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²
