- The census of 1870 shows: Thomas J. Rawson, 31, a miller with $10,550 real estate and $1950 personal estate; and Joanna Rawson, 32, keeping house; listed with William L. Rawson, Albert G. Rawson, John W. Rawson, Burley P. Rawson and Thos. Davis Rawson
living at Harrisville, Ritchie County, West Virginia.
Also living there were two farm laborers: Jacob Wigner, 19; and G. F. Wolards, 35.1 - On Nov 22, 1909 she and her husband went to Gassaway to spend a few weeks with their son, B.H. Rawson, where she had a third paralytic stroke.
